An award winning chef whose culinary career spanned some 36 years, Rod has had the opportunity to serve presidents, movie stars and sporting greats. Dedicated to supporting the progress of HTN’s apprentices and being of service to HTN’s host businesses, Rod is also instrumental in coordinating HTN’s highly successful apprentice chef’s culinary competition series annually.

Hi there, I’m George.
I am passionate about culinary arts and feel privileged to work with new talent that comes through our programs.

My role at HTN

Industry Advisor

Commencing his culinary career as a 16 year old apprentice chef in a small CBD restaurant, he soon progressed his career to be the Executive Chef at Oatlands House, a large historic Restaurant and Function Centre. His career also saw him as a waiter and chef for two years at a fine dining establishment in Double Bay. His role at HTN has him involved in judging cookery comps, judging world skills and Le Cordon Bleu assessing. George is dedicated to developing culinary talent.
